Good is a motion picture starring Viggo Mortensen, Jason Isaacs and Jodie Whittaker. It is based on the stage play by C. P. Taylor. It was directed by Vicente Amorim. It was released on December 31, 2008.PlotGood is the story of John Halder (Mortensen), a German literary professor in the 1930s, who is reluctant at first to accept the ideas of the Nazi party. He is pulled in different emotional directions by not only his wife, but by his Jewish friend. Eventually Halder gives in to Nazism and becomes employed. He moves up in the Nazi ranks as time moves along making his relationship with his Jewish friend more and more fraught. Finally Halder finds himself working at a German concentration camp in Poland where he sees his emaciated friend, reaching the movie's climax.
