My ear has been tuned into the rumor mill for the past few months as rumblings concerning Phish returning to Red Rocks were rolling around. Today, the dates (4 of them: July 30-August 2) officially descended from Phish headquarters via the clever use of Google Earth.
I am excited and a little scared.
Excited because it is Phish at Red Rocks. Scared because it is Phish at Red Rocks.
I'll let you take what you want from that last statement. My friend who saw them at Red Rocks a more than a dozen years ago (the last time they played the venue) witnessed someone get hit by a car and then immediately get up and walk away like nothing happened (hiiiiiiiigh as a kite). If I was on PT, I could insert something here concerning wooks.
Either way, I have put in for my tickets. If I get them, I will rejoice. If I get extras, I will only sell them to Colorado residents. My thought process here coincides with my lingering bitterness towards not being able to get Colorado Rockies World Series tickets.
