I don't understand what all the fuss is about. President Obama's comment was so innocent and so unimportant I almost missed it. President Obama was just being himself. He was not being cruel.
I have a granddaughter that is mentally delayed. If she chose to participate in the Olympics it would have to be the Special Olympics. I definately was not offended by what he said. People want him to be the type of president that is available to the public and he is as much as it is possible for him to be. That will change if everything he says is so criticized that he must think every word through for all interpretations before he speaks.
I DID NOT VOTE FOR PRESIDENT OBAMA so don't think I am just standing up for him because he was my choice. I am saying his comment was not cruel, or biased or anything else you might want to say about it. It was just a man trying to have a good time and show the people that he is like all of us. He is trying to be a good leader of our country and let us all know he has the same flaws (can't bowl worth a darn) that all of us have. Give him a chance to be what everyone wants him to be, A GOOD PERSON AND A GOOD PRESIDENT.
