Being British and against the war is not un-patriotic. Allowing your sons and daughters to fight a globally reknowned illegal war is. The whole point the protesters were making was the fact that the spilt blood in the battle for oil- not democracy has caused the deaths of innocents. I hate the fact that we are in an Illegal war, and that our soldiers are being sent home in body bags.
One point i want to make very clear is I won't stand for what these hot heads did. They did insult the people of this great nation and they should be scolded for what they have done. But to march against a presence of muslims in our country and suggest that they hold an agenda of evil? That is being ridiculous. If there was any suspicion of illicit activity on their part, our secret services and the police would have picked up on them ages ago. I am white and a proud Brit, but i will never side with the anti islamic agenda in this video.
Do you realise what would happen if the middle east decides one day to cut of our oil supplies? We would be sent into the dark ages. We rely on foreign oil import and this is key to our economic survival in this recession we are facing. Islam isn't the enemy- misinterpreting hot headed fundamentalists who distort the truth are.
I am glad to have our troops home safe and sound, but to be part of an agenda that intends to indoctrinate that being against this war is unpatriotic, i will make my stand for that. These young idiots maybe here protesting this war, but they are reminding us our our duty to make a stand for our rights to protest against unsolicited government action upon a region which has no relevance to us.
