this s ong made me emotional because the name is sissy's song, and my grandmas nickname was sissy and thats what everyone called her.

I lost a friend that was like a mom to me on the 18 of april and when I heard that song I cryed because of every word put her there .she meant every thing to me .they even played this song for her. I still thing she would of loved this song if she was there.

Alan Jackson, I know that God had to give you the words to "Sissy's Song". Each time I hear it my heart breaks with the love that comes through the music. My daughter was in a wreck March 31, 2009 and nearly dieded and that was the date that I first heard this song. I begged God to spare her life and He did.
