I was amazed at the emotion I felt while watching and listening to Susan Boyle's performance on that stage. It is a brilliant reminder of why we all must continue to pursue our dreams despite how others may perceive us. I could not stop the tears from flowing while watching. I just LOVE watching the human spirit succeed and surpass our seemingly cynical natures!
No more talent shows for Susan Boyle! The British talent
show wants her to come back for competition. She won
the show and the hearts from all over the World! Susan
belongs in higher places and we look forward to her new CD!
Last day of school.. animal physio practical.. a sense of achievement because I sort out the calculations myself..Another 5 km run tonight.. a sense of achievement because I managed to shave a minute off my previous timing..I then saw this video..and my eyes welled up, not with sadness, but with joy, happiness and exuberance. Sometimes we humans have a lot to learn from each other.I dreamed a dreamI dreamed a dream in time gone by When hope was high, And life worth living I dreamed that love would never die I dreamed that God would be forgiving. Then I was young and unafraid When dreams were made and used, And wasted There was no ransom to be paid No song unsung, No wine untasted. But the tigers come at night With their voices soft as thunder As they tear your hopes apart As they turn your dreams to shame. And still I dream he’ll come to me And we will live our lives together But there are dreams that cannot be And there are storms We cannot weather…I had a dream my life would be So different from this hell I’m living So different now from what it seems Now life has killed The dream I dreamed.
Unassuming.
She dreamed a dream to sing in front of a large crowd, of becoming like Elaine Paige.
It happened.
A big surprise! She got talent! Big Talent!
Magnificent voice for a 47-year old.
She is SUSAN BOYLE, Britain’s Next superstar.
PS: I really got big goosebumps from the first note to the last one, especially during the highlight of the song…”as they turn your dreams to shame.” She is bigger than Paul Potts.
