Obama's infamous words, "time to change", have echoed through the minds of many Americans. Hopefully some people will make changes in a positive direction. Well, though this particular change might not be a noble type and may not be for the best, I have decided that I will change the hair dew and let it grow!! That's right...I'm going to grow my hair up until it hits the ceiling baby!! Actually that's a bit exaggerated, but I am letting the hair grow some. After letting it grow for a couple weeks, my friends are already teasing me....great friends huh!! They look forward to seeing what happens, but at the same time, they pet my head and call me a baby chick! I don't know whether to chirp like a little chicken or bark like a dog and bit their hands. I guess that will depend on who's petting. My hair is at the stage where it's long and sticking straight up....haha it's kinda funny looking. I think I still need a couple weeks before it gets long enough where it will start to naturally fall down, and so until them, I'm in what my home-slice Zeki calls "in the critical stage". Haha....he went from a crew cut to the gel look and so he has experience. All this attention on growing reminded me of the Chia Pet commercials. And so I had to find some to give some giggles. If I'm going to be called a chick, I better find stuff to make me laugh :-)
