It's almost upon us. And, when you look at the clip you'll see that it's already upon Sookie. What is? I have absolutely no idea what it is, looks nasty and big and has claws and ...Well, look for yourself.LINK I know, looks like a monster from Fringe, huh. Just another naturally occurring entity in Bon Temps, like shape shifters and vampires.(And, vampires that have sex, thank you. None of this sugar-coated angsty Jennifer Meyer Twilight stuff.)Now, you should know that the picture above in no way represents what cast may be staying and may be going, it's just something I found on the web. I say that because Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) isn't in the pic above and Lafayette actually dies in the first of the Sookie Stackhouse books. That means ... nothing. And I just can't imagine that they are done with an actor like Ellis, who with Rutina Wesley are the performance breakouts of the show.Of course, my heart (and other parts) belong to Jason (Ryan Kwanten).Oh, and the leads are great, too. But I love the quirky supporting characters here, and written with such detail by Alan Ball and his crew. After the jump, some bonus material from the Blu-Ray release of season one with Lafayette in a kind of video blog moment. And there's much more at HBO.com/trueblood. Season one DVD and Blu-Ray on sale May 19.June 14, 9 pm, HBO. Summer's hot, True Blood is hotter.LINK
