This was on Colbert Nation last week and it is something I agree with, we as a nation must stop saving our money and spend. Daniel Gross's book "Dumb Money" is a must read If we want to get back our jobs. Yes we can continue to blame the banks and the financial mess they got us into but it is still just a small part of our problem. We are actually hurting our selves buy not going out to shop and go to dinner or movies, our economy can only thrive buy spending money at this point. I do realize that allot of people are out of jobs, I am not saying that if you don't have a job you should spend money you need the saved money for to pay bills until you have a job again.

Those of us who have jobs need to get out there and spend so we can help those who need a job get a job. If you are extremely well to do in this economy this goes doubly for you. We need to spend not save to boost this economy.

I realize this is probably going to get a lot of comments both positive and negative but please keep an opened mind.
