Greenhouse Effect achieved their 45,000 Youtube play for "The Magic Man" and their 16,000 song play for "Irie Bob" at one of their several Youtube sites. "Sharkge7" is the 'red' site that has gotten nearly 400,000 Song Video plays in just over one year on the net at Youtube. Small potatoes compared to the super views they have achieved at GoogleVideoCom. Greenhouse Effect's "unofficial" Myspace site has ran up over one million page hits with "Brandy" leading the way. "It ain't easy" is the newest single all over the net for G.e. and it is off to a quick start, achieving large download numbers at Google in one month.....

After parting ways with First Guitarist Phil Keegan (Dr. phil) in September of 1990, G.e. would drastically shift gears with February 1991's "Going Legit" cd which featured more punk and indie rock styled flavors rather than the blues tinged work of Keegan that dominated G.e's first three albums. We now know ofcourse today that Clark Hagins and Rick Carmody would pull off some of today's internet's biggest songs in Brandy and the "White Black Song" but September 1992's "Big Teen Dollar$" would be an important achievement as well for the band. "The Greatest teen anthem achievement,..in the history of 35 years of pop music" and "4/4 beats for the naive,...and the chicks go crazy" would be lines that mark G.e. as different from any other band,..."We manage to get alot of hits to that site called Revver" says Clark Hagins in 2009 "...And as everybody knows,..you can't get alot of traffic at Revver,...unless you got scripts and Bots galore,..G.e. does it with just our music,...We have a serious net following" says Hagins...

Greenhouse Effect explode in cyberspace with Net dominating Video Views for Songs like Brandy and "People (that won't back down)". The band got it's start long ago as Clark Hagins was the drummer for a band called DH and the Iron Workers (Who later became the Jim Mellon Quartet),...Hagins also played in various punk rock bands "Outlash Control" in Torrance and B.P.S. in Gardena Calif. with legendary South bay punker Greg Heinze; "That band played so fast that they asked me to quit" says Hagins today in 2008 "I couldn't play drums that fast,..I'm not Dave Lombardo !!" - Mark Theodore of Alternative Groove records in Hermosa Beach would graciously sell Hagins cassettes and cd's recalling; "the guy was so persistant,...everybody turned him down,..but he kept on going like the energizer bunny" Hagins never achieved a Major recording contract despite all his inventions, gigs, and endless marketing galore - but ofcourse today is known as one of the Internet's biggest music stars with millions of downloads for tracks like "A Current Affair", ..a song he co-wrote with Guitar legend Phil Keegan (Dr. Phil)....
