original description

On April 7, Olivia Newton-John will commence a 21-day walk along the Great Wall of China. She will lead a group of celebrities along the way. Some may not be in it for the whole course, but will at least give their support for part of the way.Cliff Richard and Jane Seymour are amongst the celebrities who plan to join in.The Great Wall of China is one of the Wonders of the World and the winding uphill and downhill path takes one breath away, as does the spectacular scenery surrounding it.The walk, which is called the Great Walk to Beijing, is aimed to raise funds for a cancer research and treatment centre in Newton-Johns' hometown Melbourne, Australia. As a former cancer-sufferer, Newton-John is showing great devotion to help fight this disease. Two thumbs up for Olivia - a marvellous and praiseworthy venture.
