last night maggie and i went cruizing with one haole teacha and her local kine husband. the haole teacha told us about how the menehunes (ancient hawaiian little people who were king kamehameha's warriers) play with her kids' toys at night, and they can all hear the toys running but ignore it because some times the menehune have bad spirits. they used to leave the toy room a mess, but the family started leaving notes asking them to put the toys back and now they do.


Incidentally, is anyone else totally sketched out and offended by the little people on the miniature ponies in this jack in the box commercial?
