Why Are so many "LAME" songs getting Grammy's and RAP IS turning into a much (hopefully)more Artistic thing? I DESPISE METAL, RAP, GANGSTER RAP, ETC. 80's music and pointless songs which fill our airwaves, and as quickly forgettable. I Dig Eminem, Snoop & A few others who KNOW how to make "Rap" work so that it's art and not mindless CRAP!!!!!! Thats why heavy metal from the mid 80's to early 2000, SUCKED giantly. Give me songs with depth, or surrealism anything groovy, from Billie Holiday to Conor Oberst or Frank Zappa and Fleet Foxes, I love indie music...Open your ears and listen to REAL MUSIC, Blondies Rapture- there you go. Or MGMT- Electric Feel. OR Pink Floyd - Great Gig In The Sky (Dark Side of the moon where this song comes from is more than wonderful, if you have never sat and listened to this album, your missing out. Then we have The Orb - Adventures Beyond the Ultra World is another fantastic album, or just about anything by The Orb. Rave & Techno are ultra cool too...Listen to what is good not made to listen to over and over again because you think your favorite radio station is fine, unless if it plays these types of songs, these "tacky" stations are made to put crap in our ears, were told what to like...I DON'T Think So...For those in Maryland listen to 103.1 underground, WRNR, or the website...The rest, look around the dial for strange sounds, chances are you've found something to break you away from "phil collins" yuck!
