Someone asked me last night what I think of Carrie Prejean, and if I was going to write about her. I don't want to. I'm sick of her. I don't much care what she thinks. This whole thing is ridiculous. But since we have a propensity to hang on to people who throw one sentence out there that agrees with us and make them into celebrities a la Joe the Plumber, Carrie is now the de facto leader of the GOP. Well, her and Meghan McCain.

Let it go people. Good for her for voicing her opinion. Is she going to be a traditional marriage activist? No, she wants to be a model, y'all! Did Joe the Plumber have any impact whatsoever on the election? No. And we look stupid holding up plumbers and beauty queens as political leaders. So stop it.
