‘There’s no secrets’ and Silversun Pickups stopped by the Risers set to let it all out about their new release ‘Swoon’, which has gotten nothing but rave reviews from bloggers and critics alike - aside from Pitchfork, of course.Personally, I’m not really too into this band. It’s weird, I mean, I get the Smashing Pumpkins comparison and all, and I totally dig the Smashing Pumpkins, but this band just doesn’t do it for me. Neither does a certain mega-giant store… and my blog is totally turning into the Walmart Soundcheck blog. BUT, I’m pretty sure that even if I didn’t have my hands in this campaign I’d probably post the link to the Silversun Pickups interview, cause it’s actually really good.   Sidenote: I always forget that the singer of this band is a dude, because he totally sounds like a woman. Anyway, check out the homegrown indie rockers as they let us in on how a small beginning at the Silversun liquor store (on Silverlake and Sunset Blvd) grew into a 2 year world tour.
