Was anyone watching the MTV awards on May 31st? Pretty amazing. Twilight cleaned up and took home a lot of buckets of popcorn. Plus my favorite part of the night… The New Moon official trailer! Honestly the whole ‘Kiss me’ had me on the edge of my seat, the paper cut had me jumping up [...]

OK. Yes. I'm a few hours behind.

I'm still posting this.

I don't even care.

While I maintain the books are better, etc., etc., I will unashamedly profess my deep addiction to and curiosity of the movie versions of the "Twilight" books. The movies are sweet, sweet, pixie stick, cotton candy, liquid sugar crack for the 13-year-old still buried in my psyche. (The books are just plain good reading.)

Date on Nov. 20? Yes, please.

(Bet I can tell you who's NOT in. :-p I'm thinking a Girls' Night outing, so clear the calendars and get a sitter, ladies.)

Also? Taylor Lautner? I don't know what he did during the past year, but it was almost enough to make me switch to Team Jacob for a nanosecond. Or hang his poster in my locker next to Edward or develop a thing for wolves or something. Snap, yo, boy got hottttt. I'm just sayin'.

On another note ... think I could pull off the Alice hair cut/color? I secretly dream of being that cute with short hair.

In case you've been comatose, the New Moon trailer debuted last night at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards and it's living up to its hype. The trailer begins with Bella (Kristen Stewart) asking Edward (Robert Pattinson) to kiss her for her birthday. After a passionate kiss in which Bella whispers "I love you" in Edward's ear, we see Bella and Edward in the Cullen study and Edward admits, "You're my only reason to stay alive, if that's what I am." The camera then cuts to Bella's birthday party, hosted by the Cullens. While Bella opens a present, however, she cuts her finger and exclaims, "Ow, paper cut." Blood drips to the floor and the rest is vampire history. Check it out below:Personally, I would have liked to see more interaction between Bella and Edward in the latter part of the trailer, but I'll take what I can get. It certainly helps that Jacob (Selena Gomez's ex Taylor Lautner) makes an appearance--shirtless . And rumor has it that the movie deviates from the book in Edward's case, giving him additional screentime and making us all so very happy.What do you think?
