People who have paid through suffering the consequences of words used against them are the only ones who have the right to use them. People who have not paid for them, have no right to use them, regardless of what their "intentions" are. The only people who have a right to decide whether or not to use the word are those who've paid for them historically. It is a person of color's word, and only a person of color has a right to it.

How do I sign the petition? I am sick and tired of hearing this word. It offends me and I'm not black. I hate it and I hear it all the time. I wish I knew how to clean peoples mouths. I threatened my son-in-law with washing his mouth out with soap if he said it around me and my grandson again. Well he's better at my house but he is so intuned with the incorrect use of it that I just want to scream. How do you get people to stop it!

I DO NOT support this petition.I'm not racist but I do believe there is a double standard going on. Blacks are the most racist people out there. Can a white women get in Miss Black America? But a Black one can Miss USA. How many Untied White College Funds are there? Black people would spin out. Cry me a river Whites DO NOT have the N word in their songs take a long look a rap and hip hop. Kind of a self hating thing.

It is a shame you feel so selfish. Jesus says you should want others to benefit above yourself. Put the other person ahead of you. If everyone lived like that we wouldn't have to have this 11 year old tell us how badly we are all (all peoples of all colors) acting. I think everyone should take an honest hearted look at themselves and change to be kinder to others.
