What is funnier is that the Iranian people were more than likely encouraged by the events in Iraq to take to the street and fight for democracy. Had the Republicans and the Democrat cowards who later said they did not vote for the war, NOT voted to overthrow Sadam, the Iranian people might have settled for the results they were given. However with the moderate success of the Iraqi Elections they have become emboldened. Making fun of the Republicans. Go right ahead. We can take it. The protesters probably were encouraged by the acts of G. Bush and the Congressmen who sent us to war in the Middle East. A week ago Iran was a serious threat to the security of Israel, and to the start of a Nuclear War. Now it is in the throws of a revolution and the world steps back from the brink for a while. Democrats will take the credit, but it was the War in Iraq, that created this situation and which may end up bringing the desire for Democracy to the Middle East.
