I hope this "fine, up-standing, Christian" will see how many young people he has had a negative influence on and that he will know that he very possibly has caused someone to miss getting to heaven due to his two-faced life. I hope his wife NEVER takes him back and that she takes him to the cleaners.

There was way more to the missing Governor story, so my obsession was warranted. Governor Mark Sanford just announced that he has been unfaithful to his wife. He developed a relationship with a "dear, dear friend in Argentina." There was, of course, the perfunctory apology to his wife and kids. Unlike many of these previous press conferences (Spitzer, Vitter), Mrs. Sanford was not standing by him at this press conference. Also, apologies were made to the people of South Carolina and people of faith. The GOP is running out of leaders. Sanford is also resigning as chair of the Republican Governors Association, too. Wonder if he'll be at the Values Voters Summit this year. This press conference definitely had the "ick factor." Ick.

UPDATE: Via Media Matters, FOX News labeled the Sanford a Democrat. And, I can't help it. Sanford said he was crying in Argentina. I'm going with Madonna's Miami Mix:
