Clearly! Clearly!, the state of Louisiana and the politicians of the state of Louisiana have trouble. both Democrats (see William Jefferson) and Republicans ( see Bobby Jindal) recognizing SOLUTIONS, PRIORITIES OR RESPONSIBILITY! Thanks for the video (and the setting). It now becomes very clear to me just WHY (and how) New Orleans' so-called "recovery" has lagged so far behind! Obviously, C-Murder can now request his 15 minutes of fame by appearing before the State Legislation as a role model for Gang Bang "rehab". While there is NO SINGLE SOLUTION TO THE NATIONAL PROBLEM; there are many local and national programs that speaks more directly--not to offering individual rappers a "stage" for personal exposure. I saw (on the internet) a program called AmericasCHILD RELAY, that for the past 25 years has been offering hundreds to thousands of children REAL develeopmental opportunities in several cities. Try visiting their website at www.americaschildrelay.com and witness some REAL opportunities for the children of Louisiana (and elsewhere). We're losing our kids by the ship loads and praising "one rapper" (with questionable lyrics and catchey beats) is???? Maybe the legislator is a "silent" manager of this guy's career. Clearly, the talents and "humanitarian" good done by the late Michael Jackson (at an early age and beyond) can serve as an example for what individual "talent" can offer to youngsters who seek a career in entertainment and is willing to work hard (though his "talents" were a special gift that God will share with us only once); but the only saying that "there is a time and place for everything"--just leaves this setting as "INAPPROPRIATE!" Maybe its ME who just don't get it. But I have only one question for this State Legislator, "ARE YOU SERIOUS???"
I love watching awkward moments.Earlier today (Thursday) the preceding video of Louisiana entertainer, Hurricane Chris hit the net. Apparently his home state’s House of Representatives had nothing better to discuss that they decided to not only honor the silly ass rapper but allow him to put on a monkey suit and perform the song [...]
Hurricane Chris, suited and booted, stands in front of the Louisiana House of Representatives and discusses the positive of his song, “She’s Fine”, as woman who are beautiful can consider themselves “Halle Beeeeeeeeeerrrrrrry”. At 6:38 mark , Hurricane Chris begins to perform. Props to Hurricane, he has one hell of agent to get him that [...]
This is a genuine WTF moment. Rapper Hurricane Chris has a new song called “Halle Berry (she’s fine) which is blowing up the billboard charts as well as radio, but go preform for the legislature with that ignorant mess– I am truly at a loss for words- The performance starts of 6:37:
LMAO! Man, this one knocked me off my rocker. Who would’ve thought they’d be waking up to see Hurricane Chris getting honored in the Louisiana House of Representatives, with a suit on nonetheless? Well, at the end of the day its still a large look for Hip Hop and especially for the youth of Louisiana, [...]
