Sarah Palin's announcement of her resignation as Governor. This is strange political theater, as Palin is gasping out her resignation.

The nature of the speech, her uncharacteristic nervousness, her allusion to "politics of destruction", and demeanor all scream that there is another pretty major shoe to drop here.

Rumors have been circulating in Alaska that there is a major criminal indictment pending.
