A joke you say? I don't know where to start....I live in Honduras...I am watching and living the events daily, and I have seen what Zelaya has done in the last 3 years as President. Corruption.....No budget...attempts to pass laws legalizing all drugs....not enacting any laws passed by the Congress. Your video could not be more full of erroneous facts. Zelaya taken by force by military coup? no. It was on the order of the other levels of government.....the Supreme court and the Congress. Unconstitutional? not according to the Honduran Constitution illegal? no, according to the Supreme Court and the Attorney General...and voted on by the Congress.
Have you read the Honduran constitution? Have you looked into what really happened here? Zelaya: "a little left of centre?"....c'mon...how much further left is there? "Zelaya kinda liked Chavez"? there are the best of buddies, along with Raul Castro (CUBA) and Daniel Ortega (NICARAGUA) to name a few. He wanted to be Chavez...unbeknownst to the people that elected him almost 4 years ago.
The other electoral bodies of Honduras voted against him when he continually wanted to align with the far leftists, and yet he still insisted on moving forward with the hopes of changing the constitution to let him serve again....a la Chavez.
The press has not been suppressed....I watch local news and read the newspaper and Twitter all day......the internet is a wonderful thing. The majority people of Honduras do not want to be turned over to a Chavez-like government.. Why do you have a problem with that?
Did you see the hundreds of thousands of people that held peace marches all week, in support of the temporary president, that will now be in power until elections are held in November?
Congratulations to DeWint for doing his research.... Honduras needs help from other democratic countries...By not doing so, another country in the hemisphere will be aligned with the communists and socialists.
