I'm so sad for this country. I'm sad that we let a complete idiot run the country and im sad that we got fooled into believing this man would be any different. I would rather have Palin than him (and that's saying something) I'm already waiting until next election to see what kind of puppet they put up next.

This is about power and control - a move to have a Socialist Country "spreading the wealth". 3- REMEMBER: Medicare is Bankrupt, Social Security is Bankrupt, Medicaid is full of abuse, fraud, and stupidity. (I have billed it for years, I know...). IS THIS REALLY WHO YOU TRUST FOR YOUR HEALTH CARE???? The private insurance companies are not saints, and reform needs to happen - but trusting ANOTHER poorly run public health company to the government is insane. Would you re-hire the contractor who ruined and bankrupted your next door neighbors to work on YOUR house?? Maybe if you're insane.... Not me, I've dealt with enough government agencies to know better -- You should too !! I don't care what they "say", it's just more lies. The evidence of rationing, poor care, limited access is astounding, just look to other nations who are faced with these same things plus major TAX INCREASES. Single payer is the only way to go. Why would you want to continue with private insurance companies sucking millions of health care dollars out of the system for their own personal gains? Your employer decides what health insurance you will have and your private health insurance decides whether they will pay. If you are unlucky enough to have only one person working in a family with people who have pre-existing conditions you will pay through the nose. If you are lucky enough to GET individual insurance with a pre-existing condition it will cost you over $700 a month for ONE PERSON. Wake up people. You are a bunch of sheep brainwashed by corporate America. Nobody should be profiting off my illness! Nobody should be profiting off a person with cancer. THERE SHOULD BE NO PROFIT IN MEDICAL CARE. The US spends more per capita than any other country on health care yet we rank 37th in the world for mortality rates. Our current system sucks. THINK ABOUT IT! What is wrong with making health care like schools, libraries and police departments? What are you so afraid of? Barack Obama is one of the smartest presidents we have ever had. You are just brainwashed from watching too much Fox Cable news. Private health insurance NEEDS to be eliminated. Go visit sickforprofit and see how much those CEOs are raking in.

Linda Douglass, the Communications Director for the White House Office of Health Reform is defending Barack Obama's previous statements about health care, and telling America that what we heard from him, is not what we heard. Matt Drudge at the Drudge Report linked the video below and now, the White House targets Drudge, and as you will see, Douglass targets Americans. She says the following video is taken out of context and does not mean what Barack Obama actually says. Douglass says the clips in the video are "cherry-picked." Douglass shows a clip that she claims "they" (anyone in opposition) will not show you. That clip is another of Obama saying if you want to keep your current health care, you can. Now, if you know what is in the health care bill, you know that is not true. We can keep our current health care if we want to, as long as we work for that same employer - never changing jobs, and as long as our employer continues to offer health care to us. If either is no longer the case, you can never again go back to private insurance. The government will have you in their greedy clutches forever. I logged on to the White House website to provide a link to Douglass' video, Facts are "Stubborn Things." There are no facts in the Douglass video - only deceptions. I am loathe to log-on to any government site now, since reading the "Warning" on the Cash for Clunkers website. If you have not read that revelation, you should. The video below shows President Obama discussing health care on several occasions. Douglass says these statements are out-of-context. As you can clearly see, there is no way they can be out of context. By the way, if you are writing or reading on the web about the health care plan, Douglass characterizes you as someone who "has a lot of time on your hands." Never has a White House been so disrespectful of the American people.
