Straight from the source. It just boggles me how republicans give Reagan 2 years before it was his mess and Obama only six months?? If they applied that to Reagan, he let unemployment go up 2% before it dipped!
President Obama "Kicks it up a notch" discussing Health Care Reform. I believe this is the beginning of moving aggressively towards getting the job done.
The good news? President Obama addresses the vile attacks this week by reform critics and their paid mobs (too politely if you ask me). The bad news? Well, there a two tidbits worth noting. First, health care will now be done, "by the end of this year." Second, and and far worse, something was missing completely from his address on health care reform. Can you tell what it is? Answer: No mention this time of the Public Option. None. Rahm & his Bush Blue Dog corporatists have won and the American people have lost. We learned that we lost 247,000 jobs in July – some 200,000 fewer jobs lost than in June, and far fewer than the nearly 700,000 a month we were losing at the beginning of the year. Of course, this is little comfort to anyone who saw their job disappear in July, and to the millions of Americans who are looking for work. And I will not rest until anyone who’s looking for work can find a job.
