The Beatles 'Love' - Drive My Car/The Word/What You're Doingdjthalie2 min 0 sec - Dec 3, 2006Montage - since i've been revisiting the beatles again recently, a friend asked if i had gotten the CD 'love' that just came out about a week ago. nope. so today while i was out doing the usual shopping thing, i picked up a copy. my take on the CD? not bad, at least its tastefully done for the most part - but really, its the kind of stuff me or other beatles freaks that have the ability to mix could have done, given all the necessary stuff to do it. certainly nothing against george martin or his son - we know they have the right stuff, and its been proven over the years. really - its just another way to compile and make the old into new again, looking for another market and hopefully juice some more bucks out of us. could any seasoned dj or studio engineer with the right equipment have done this type of thing? you betcha! :) i'm not here for a debate. its just my 2 cents. heh. everyone is entitled to their opinions, and please do share them. that's what this forum is all about, thank goodness :)
