The first time I picked up this book I had a feeling that I won't like it. The back cover summary made me think it a tad ambitious. But closing the book now, I am actually relieved I pushed myself a little more to finish that first quarter of the book because in all actuality, Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones is one of the more original novels in the past couple of decades.
