I think everyone tends to grab at any reference that moves the number in the direction they favor. The Park Police deny authorizing any estimate. I have read of nobody offering any source of their "estimate" other than a "guess" before Glen's claim of "some university" doing grid analysis. Newspapers and networks throw stuff out and you can take your pick. London Daily Mail said 2 million.
There are 40,000 square YARDS on the immediate 3 sections of fenced west front lawn and it was EASILY packed at 2 per yard. I was there and walked all over it. It was a "push your way thru" crowd. No clear walkways. 98% standing and so tight several folks said they had to leave as they felt (as I did at times) they could not breath. Side yards and the reflecting pool area were also full. Beck is way too high but I am certain there were "hundreds of thousands".

I was there and took crowd pictures. I also paced off the areas on the west lawn of the Capital where the front parts of the crowd were (the next day). There were at least 75,000 in the lawn areas. I have looked at my own pictures and many on the internet. There were a minimum of 200,000 and perhaps many more as it is impossible to see everywhere without an airplane shot. We talked to dozens of attendees and every one was from far away --- Calif., Tex., Flor., etc. So few locals to boost the number.

LMAO: Keep in mind that would be MORE than Barack Obama's Inauguration. The real number is somewhere between 60,000 - 70,000, according to ABC, but more likely closer to 30,000, according to Park Police (if that). Take your med, buddy. Take your meds. LOL. var addthis_pub="thejoshuablog";

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. According to Glen Beck - and some "university" he can't remember the name of - a picture's worth about a million people who didn't show up.
