Plum TV Series: Be careful what you say around animator Scott Bateman. He takes snippets of "found" audio -- from celebrities, films, commercials, real people... even hobos and prisoners -- and uses them as soundtracks for his witty, satirical animations. It's like putting a fork into your funny bone. It hurts, but you gotta' laugh. For his legendary Bateman 365 project, he did one of these animations every day for a year.
Now, Bateman is breaking all the rules on Plum TV, where he's doing a series of half-hour shows. Part reality, part cartoon, part "mockumentary," the Plum series is turning television, and animation, inside out. Mondays at midnight.
