No, not Neverland. The one he was renting for $100,000 a month in LA. Christian Audigier is the French designer probably most well known for his tattoo art-inspired Ed Hardy clothing line. You know, the stuff that looks like a collage of blown-up, hideous temporary tattoo art stretch out on every piece of garment imaginable.If you're confused and saying to yourself, "I didn't know Michael and Christian Audigier were even friends." Well, to quote a Michael Jackson song, "You Are Not Alone." Audigier apparently became fast friends with Michael in 2008 when the two made each other's acquaintance. Jackson even made an appearance at Audigier's birthday party.Well, as brief as their friendship was, Audigier now feels so inspired by his late friend's passing that he is BUYING the house the singer was renting in LA, and plans to open it up to the public every year on June 25th, the day the King of Pop died. Watch his interview with Reuters where he talks about his relationship with the singer and his plans to turn the house into a tribute to Michael. While it's a nice gesture, it's an odd one. Especially given Audigier's very brief history with Michael. I wonder how the Jackson family feels about this?
