original description

Dang, this is cute. I still don't know and don't care what it's selling, but to me, this minute-long commercial is now in the annals of TV pet s/heroes, like Cleo Miller and Morris the Cat. What I like about it is the expression on both doggies' faces. Each time she ups the ante, he brings her something else. When he brings her "the money,"--the bone--she finally responds. Now he can lie down and feel, well, important. Uhuh. It's also cute that he's smaller than she is. Sometimes the simpler the ad, the more expensive. Doesn't look it. It also makes me think that it's longer than one minute and one second. It isn't. It passes the "universality" test; we've all been there and done that. Sometimes, less is more. More or less. Oh, and you can download the song here. It was created especially for the commercial and is sung by Rosi Golan, in French. It only lasts one minute and a few seconds.
