Youtube Video For the Greenhouse Effect captured Live in August 1989 Rick Carmody bass video. Greenhouse Effect explode LIVE with this Yardbirds Cover that they also did in the studio in 1987 and THEY DID VERY WELL !! CLARK HAGINS pounds the drums here as he also does in the classic studio version with Keegan. G.e. nail every bit of the psychedelic angst and garage rock fury of Keith Relf, Jimmy Page and the Yardbirds in 1967. In June of 1990, G.e. would perform before a 500 person Crowd at Wilson park in Torrance in their final ever 'three piece band' line up with Keegan, After that, G.e. would pick up drummer Mike Valencia with Hagins moving up to lead vocals only, often leaping about the stage hillariously. In September 1990, G.e. performed at Fest 3 with Tenonvang, Death & Taxe$ , and Redondo band Instigater...in a performance that Keegan and Hagins regret. Hagins sporting a blue "Edmonton oilers" nhl Hockey sweater did his leaping bit about the stage as a hostile crowd provoked G.e. The gig was filmed by Electra Records A & R man Larry Coven - but the lost footage has never materialized to the surface to this day ! After this fateful afternoon gig, G.e. would part ways with Keegan and they would become the "Ben is dead" G.e. with Hagins suddenly on guitar upfront along with Carmody...in an image that would eerily fortel the future of alternative rock and bands like Nirvana and Green day.
