Stella D’Oro workers in the Bronx who recently won a long fought legal battle after striking for months have been told that their plant has been sold to a company in Chicago, Lance Inc., and will be shutting its doors. Goldman Sachs is an investor in the company and last week workers protested outside Goldman's headquarters on Broad Street.
