Assalumu AlaikumFamiliar faces we often greetExchanging dialogue while we meetBut as we gesture, respond or smileBefore we speak, just think a whileWelcome not with words unrewarding Hello, Good day, Good evening, Good morningBut choose to radiate pace and calmOffer a warm exchange of Salam! And peace on you comes the replyWill bond our kinship and strengthen our tieTo those unknown, do not hesitateWe are one family in Islamic faithAllahs servants of the skyThe Angels extend this humble replyAnd our acceptance into GraceYields Salam a blessed fateSo give glad tidings with words serene Spread the blessings of peace our DinAnd relish the good of this healing balmAnd wish all our brothers and sisters SALAM.==================================Ok, above is from the utuber. As much as I know if someone gives salam to you then its wajib upon you to respond back but if a non-mahram gives you salam and you have the fear of fitnah then you are allowed not to respond loudly, you can respond back in your mind. I personally don't respond loudly to the non-mahrams unless its necessary or I have already given salams accidentally! Benefit of not giving salams is that they don't speak to you unnecessarily afterwards..........but what to do with those people who are allowed to give salams but don't do so? One of my classmates is quite older than me and I always feel awkward starting conversation with her without giving slalams but she'll never reply to my salam (most probably she considers it backward thing to do)!!! I don't think telling her 'its wajib upon u' will work as oneday I wanted to share a hadeeth with her and then she just ran away! Lol! May Allah guide us! Ameen. Muslims living in any part of the world he is our brother. We should feel for him.
Muslims are suffering,
Muslims are butchered,
Muslims are slain...
And some of us even they don't feel...they don't cry over that.
Where is the brotherhood?
If one organ is in pain, the whole body feels that...
Whether he is in India, whether he is in the Far-East...in Kashmir, in Afghanistan, in Iraq in Palestine, in Somalia...wherever the Muslim is, he is our brother we should feel for him.
