I agree. That's some great real estate ... and the stuff inside is worth some serious coin. Mouths fed, bodies clothed, roofs built ... it's a winner of an idea....
Gotta love Sarah Silverman and her ability to say some of the most profound and funniest shizz known to mankind. Being affected by images of emaciated hungry people from all over the world that are constantly showing up on her 48 inches plasma TV, has inspired Sarah with the idea for the Pope to sell the Vatican [...]
Also, just giving aid to these countries will not solve the problem. The dilemma is much deeper than mere financial crisis. It is a result of colonization. When the European powers raped these people's land they not only crushed their bodies. They also crushed their self-image and culture. As a result they do not know who they are. They are left struggling for their own identity. This further instigates a lack of confidence in themselves as a nation. They have lost the national willpower to overcome their own problems since their colonizers put them down countless times. How naive can somebody be to believe that by simply giving them money all these things will disappear? All these things is rooted in our human condition, our nature. And amidst all the hypocrisy our African brothers remain steadfast in their struggles. Please stop all this nonsense about ending world hunger. It is not the problem. What we have to do is to encourage these people to find themselves once more so that they may start believing in themselves and rebuild their land.
Here is a thought. Why don't YOU sell all your own possessions and give the proceeds to the poor? In my opinion you are committing a highly severe fallacy that is called "appeal to emotion." The church's apparent hypocrisy in not being humble is not the issue. The possessions that they have are private property and they can do whatever they want with it. Why would you ask somebody else to accomplish what you yourself would like to have done? You, Sarah Silverman, are as hypocritical as the church by not giving everything. If you cannot do it, then you should not expect others to do it too.
Sarah Silverman, you are too good at making viral videos. Please relax with that stuff! You are making the rest of us, with our chinchilla vs. dog videos and our clowncore music videos, look very bad. Anyway, Sarah Silverman knocks it out of the park in her latest viral video. Thanks, show-off!
Sarah Silverman launched a new campaign this weekend on "Real Time with Bill Maher" in which she pleads with the Catholic Church to sell the Vatican to save the world: "You preach to live humbly, and I totally agree. So now maybe it's time for you to move out of your house that is a city."“We need a hero, and who is more primed to be our hero than the pope? He’s literally a caped crusader,” explains Silverman. I think that she might be on to something.Sarah Silverman's ambitious plan for feeding the world. Watch It:
