I've been listening to J. Cole for a couple months now but it wasn't until recently when I was feeling kind of depressed that I REALLY started listening and paying attention to every word he says. I don't care what anybody says, he's the best rapper on "The Come Up."
In this video, Karen Civil talks to him about his journey. What I admire most about him is that he's educated. He used college as a tool to get to NY to pursue his rap career. Many rappers try to hide the fact that they're educated (idk why) and that's a good point that @CocoaBella brought up yesterday.
I'm not going to go on and on about him because the video will help you get to know him more and there will be MANY MORE posts on YSS about this talented young man. Enjoy!
