While doing promo for his new Beats By Dre notebook collaboration with, HP, Dre talked about Detox and holla'd at Jay-Z:
“Well, actually, Jay-Z’s just been in the studio doing some writing,” Dre told MTV News. “Hopefully I’ll get him to perform on the record. Jay, come holler!”
Last month, Dre told ABC News Dre he's like to release the long awaited Detox album in 2010. “Hopefully, I’ll get it done at the end of this year, and we can hear it next year.”

The good ol Doc let it be known that Jay is in the studio writing for Detox, but has yet to lay any vocals down for the project. You may remember that Jay wrote the first single off of 2001 “Still D.R.E.”. Spotted @ RapRadar. Jay better “holla”.
