Cracker of a Diwali With poll results expected on October 22 Fire cracker dealers are gearing up for a new set of clientele this season. They say they have been flooded with enquiries from political parties, prior to Assembly poll results. The result is expected on October 22. Talking to MiD DAY, Chandrakant Amrale, president, Sarasbaug Fire-Cracker Dealers Association said, We expect 10 per cent increase in sale because this is the first time elections are happening during Diwali. Amrale, who is also the vice president of MNS in Pune, said that the political parties who are expecting a clear majority are purchasing crackers in large bulk.
