The good folks over at Conspiracy Radio played snippets of the new Rakim album Friday night. I love Rakim, so I'm ridin with it. It's been a 10 years since The Master, which was a classic album to me, and it sounds like he picked up where he left off. Am I mistaken, or do you hear some Dre-esque beats on this album?
