This is a weird disorder. I feel so bad that people can get this. it must be a chalenge every day. my heart goes out to everyone with this.

I have what is called generalized dystonia. I want to first tell you don't give up. As Montel Williams said about his MS, "I have MS, but MS does not have me". That is how I feel about my dystonia. It is a fight each day. I have it all over my body, however, I cannot take more than 4-5 steps on my own. I can't run, but I will tell you that I am blessed. My faith is stronger now, then it has ever been. I am not familiar with the flu shot causing dystonia, I had he flu shot and am fine. They believe my signs started as far back as 1996, however, they came out full force 11/11/07. I have learned to live with the disorder, but will not give up hope. I will pray for you and hope that you are able to get strength from within. I have a wonderful support system of family, friends, church family, dystonia foundation family, etc. If you need someone just to talk to, let me know. I will talk with you about it.
