An Olympic Message from The Bear-Community.

OLYMPIC NEWS :
As was reported in the Press and Media ( Weekly News-Magazines : OlympicNews and OlympicTimes ), during the 2008 Olympic Games in China, Dog Meat was taken off the Menu in all restaurants. We were told that this was done under the PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO ANIMALS ACT. Some say, it was done just to protect HUMAN BEINGS
( who couldn’t stand the sight of dog meat being eaten in style in restaurants ) !

BEARSKIN FOR THE BEAR :
Anyway, now that The Olympics 2012 is just around the corner, The Bear-Community around the world has initiated PEACEFUL-ACTIONS to see that BEAR SKIN for the Palace-Guards in London and elsewhere will be replaced by Synthetic Material. Not just for THE London2012. Our Correspondent in London has confirmed that this will be a permanent thing and all Headgears with Bearskin will be replaced by synthetic material. For all those who do not know the actual story : All presently used BearSkins are from real Bears ( dead or killed-in-action ).
