Malalai Joya has lived through more and accomplished more in her 31 years than most of us could ever dream of. Growing up a refugee in Iran and Pakistan, she returned to her native Afghanistan and took the Loya Jirga, the constitutional convention, by storm at age 25, taking on both warlords and the U.S. occupation.
