more about "Road Trip to Thula", posted with vodpodThis past weekend, I spent some time in Thula and  Kowkaba, about an hour and a half outside of Sana'a, to the north. It was picturesque and wonderful, and in time I will write all about it, and post all of the amazing pictures, but in the meantime, I thought I would share this little gem. While traveling out, the driver and his friend decided to play a little music for us, and between the interesting refrains of Arabic tunes and horrible American hip hop, a song came on that had us foreigners in stitches. See if you can figure out the tune before I spoil it half way through the video.Also, in the interest of getting some pictures up, here are two pictures from the top of a mountain, overlooking the countryside, from an ancient lookout.
