The way we Brits throw rubbish into big, smelly holes in the ground, anyone would think it was going out of fashion. I went to meet Jason Blair, one of 11 people who, back in 2007 spent three weeks in one such smelly hole. With 3 weeks living on, and indeed off other people’s rubbish, Channel 4’s reality show ‘Dumped’ adds a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘down in the dumps’…

As part of Channel 4 reality show 'Dumped', Jason Blair and ten others spent three weeks living on a fully functioning dump, right next to a landfill site. I went to meet him to see if his environmental views have since changed, and what he thinks it will take to alter the way we think about rubbish... Cast: Lara Smallman
