Professor David Nutt, chief drug policy advisor in the British Government. This man was in a situation im certain many, many other have been in. A large, unspoken part of his job was to maintain the reputation behind pot. Bad n dirty. In the same league as the harder drugs such as smack and crack. At the end of last month he made a presentation to King’ s College in London in which he spoke truthfully about the fact that cannabis is less harmful than alcohol and many other contributing factors to the argument. AND! He accused the British government of ignoring the evidence about the true harms of cannabis in order to reclassify the drug and increase penalties for possession. He was forced into resignation by Home Secretary Alan Johnson immediately. Makes you wonder, if someone so high up in the system can't do anything, who can?
