I actually started a Facebook group dedicated to bringing attention to the Hannity scandal. On the Discussions page I left instructions for filing an online complaint with the FCC (they have a category of complaint specifically for this kind of media bias). Hopefully with enough complaints the FCC might put pressure on Fox News to take some kind of action. Look it up on FB!
Spending the day yesterday on the Veterans Day Project, I missed out on a lot of great stories (though I believe the cause was worth it). One of the big stories was how Jon Stewart totally eviscerated Sean Hannity for using fake footage to inflate the numbers of last week’s Tea Party protest outside of Capital Hill. Here is the clip from The Daily Show:And then here is the point in time when the four horsemen road in, signaling that the apocalypse has already startedI am waiting for tonight when Hannity will probably apologize for apologizing.
Sean Hannity not only lied about the number of people that attended a healthcare protest in the nation's capital, but even used false video footage to prove his claim. Michelle Bachmann was being interviewed by Hannity and claimed there were 25,000 to 40,000 people that showed up to the anti-healthcare reform rally. According to Stewart, the Washington Post actually stated only 10,000 people attended. To prove their point a clip was shown that displayed all the people that were in attendance. There was one small problem with this however. The actual clip was from the teabagger protest on 9/12. Jon Stewart didn't miss this bullshit lie by Hannity and his buddies on Fox News and called them out. Oops.Read More...
