Hasheem Thabeet (lying down) being examined soon after the injurySports players are prone to injuries and so was the case with Hasheem Thabeet, the Tanzanian playing professional NBA in the USA. Thabeet left the Tuesday's night game with a broken jaw when his team, Memphis Grizzlies, was playing against Portland Trail Blazers. He got injured one minute after entering the game in the late first quarter in which his jaw collided with forward, team mate, Zach Randolph's head. This was Thabeet's 7th game of the season. In the previous six games, he had scored 4 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks. Now the top two picks of the 2009 NBA draft Blake Griffin and Hasheem Thabeet are both on the injured list.
