original description

A group of Uighurs freed from the US detention centre at Guanatamo Bay have been flown to Palau, the island nation in the Pacific ocean. The move is part of the American administration's efforts to close the infamous prison. However, the former detainees say they feel isolated in Palau, which currently offers asylum to at least 17 men once held by the United States. For the first few arrivals, adjusting to their new freedom in an unknown land poses a major challenge. Al Jazeera's Divya Gopalan reports.
