When we broke away from USSR the trafficking was very developed. Later on the streets of Riga (Latvia) from time to time until now you can see posters warning to be sold if you don't look after your self. I remember in late nineties and early 2000 in media (radio, tv, newspapers) you could read/hear lot of articles about different forms of enslaving people and what to do and how to act if you feel that there is something suspicious. There was lot of Court cases. That HELPED!!! Now there is another problem - pedophiles. The law (in Latvia) should be changed to prevent our children from pedophiles. I dont know, may be there something is done? At the moment I'm living in UK.
