This is so very much before my time. I usually hate musicals and movies of this era because I find them incredibly syrupy but this is just too cute and Ricardo Montalban is just gravy. Fewer people moved me more than Khan Noonian Singh and that voice was just magical. The world will be a sadder place without that beautiful purr.
What a wonderful take. I've heard this a number of times and have loved it as seduction poetry played straight. I love Ricardo Mantalban with Esther Williams here when it isn't even cold outside. That, followed by Red Skelton on the other side of the seduction is really funny.
RIP Ricardo, you were better than Corinthian leather.
