There are still a few people out there trying to figure out if they should change their lives based on concerns about climate change. If you are one of these folks, I’d like to encourage you to watch this video. I promise the guy will not try to scare the pants of you! He just gives you a very handy way to sort through the decision about whether or not to take the claims of those that argue that climate change is a serious problem… and that we can do something about it.Please share this one with your friends, family and neighbors.Posted in aha!, the big picture
Fear Map(EN) Boing Boing has just published a series of posts titled Climatic Heresy in which the guest editor (Charles Platt) comments a bunch of books denying or putting doubts on the reality of global warming. One of these contains a map ( based on CHristopher Horner book) called Climate Change Policy Funding Fear through which he wants to show which interests (money) are involved in promoting the fear of climate change.I’m fed up about these climate skeptics or wanna-be-balanced commenters (and im surprised BB gives so much space to him, who also defended WalMart!!) because time to discuss is over, it’s time to act or we are done.
A US high school teacher called Greg has created a series of 10-minute videos that illustrate the [global warming] point nicely, and released them thanks to the wonders of YouTube.
